Typhoon "JUAN" continues to move away from the country.

Synopsis : At 4:00 a.m. today, the center of Typhoon "JUAN" was located based on satellite and surface data at 300 kms West Northwest of Laoag City (19.1 °N 117.4 °E) with maximum sustained winds of 175 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 210 kph. It is forecast to move North Northeast at 7 kph.



Gale Warning
Strong to gale force wind is expected to affect the seaboards of Luzon and western seaboard of Visayas.

FISHING BOATS AND OTHER SMALL SEACRAFTS ARE ADVISED NOT TO VENTURE OUT INTO THE SEA WHILE LARGER SEA VESSELS ARE ALERTED AGAINST BIG WAVES.
